Early Birds transition program runs each week throughout the school year to assist pre-Kindergarten students in making a smooth transition to school.
There is clear evidence that ‘Transition to School Programs' can improve children's cognitive, social and emotional functioning. At TCS we have seen a significant improvement in our Kindergarten students who have attended the Early Bird Program.
This program also provides opportunities for teachers to value and build on children's prior learning and demonstrates our commitment to Early Intervention. The program also settles children into the school environment giving them a head start into their school life.
